I just had complete lower unit replaced. Took to lake shifter seemed stiff. Mechanic said run it it's normal cause it's all new. Boat started ringing alarms. No lights no power can't get past 30mph. Took back to shop said they found junk in poppet valve and thermostats I don't believe them but anyway. Took to lake again same thing but no alarms just no power won't go past 30 and shifter seems stiff still. Been without a boat for over 6 months.😩😩😩 someone help please!

It's a VERY popular place but I did see after taking it that there's some pretty accurate bad revues on there. 😩 bad thing is no $ for another mechanic. They costed 10 grand insurance covered alot of it but what they didn't cause of depreciation I had to come out of pocket way more than I expected I had to do a title loan on my truck. Missed all tournaments I wanted to fish, I missed all the stages of the spawn. Really really sucks.😔 prayers please.

Need to always check your insurance and buy the right one ..Depreciated policy are what they are cheaper but not good if you don’t have enough money to cover out of pocket expenses…Try putting 100.00 back a week if you go with the depreciation policy’s…That way you are prepared and won’t need to get a title loan…

I would take the drive to Mallard Marine and get them to fix it. I take mine there and it is a 2 hour drive for me but it will be running perfect when they give it back to you.

It was fun n sun. And the boat is still not right. I got stranded again on the lake and I said I was thinking about getting lawyers involved and they said we understand and we can not communicate with you any longer call your lawyer EVERYTHING was un professional. Can not believe this is legal. It's the lower unit and mid section they also did the steering and tore the line and the wires all around the shifter and gas cable were inter twined throttle was not even connected after taking it twice with same issue they didn't even look at that.

Man, that really sucks. I feel your pain, it's happened to me. I use Bassman Randy in Farmersville. Does great work and doesn't gouge you on the labor.
