I'm new to Kayak Fishing. I've been doing some research but was hoping for some suggestions on places to launch from on the North Side of the Dam. Any suggestions are appreciated. If you'd rather direct message me I will keep any suggestions confidential. If there's anyone looking for a tag a long I'd welcome the time.

Thank...

I have always launched at Eisenhower Park or at the ramp just south of the dam. Fishing had always been good off the point west of the ramp.

Best suggestion is to get there before sunrise and be fishing by sunrise. Watch out for big boats as they don't care about you at all. Infact I think they score points on how many paddlers they hit or dump.

100% agreed. That is why I no longer fish along the dam during the day past 9am. By that time I am at the point or in the marina.

I call Texoma, during this action, "Whack-a-Mole" - by boat or kayak - - it is a huge chase where the fish are just right ... over ... there ...
