No way LEO’s could have possibly been so heartless, gutless, and chicken [censored] to wait about an hour for “backup”. It was one uneducated punk [censored] kid with a rifle. Anyone with proper training stood a better chance than the kid in that situation. Those cops were probably looking forward to their next coyote or cartel payments.

Someone who has a servants heart and choses this type of work for a living, is never "off duty" as this agent has proven. This agent was well trained, dedicated and did what one does when a situation arises, he went towards danger with no regard for his own well being to save lives of people most of which he likely did not know.

This man is 100% a true servant and hero!

I wasnt there, I have never been shot at and never put in position to shoot somebody, I dont know how I would respond but I hope I would respond in a way I could look at myself in the mirror the next morning. Thanks to the BP officer who brought it to an end. Hopefully the ranks of LEO have alot more like him.

Yes it will not be good for the ones that sat back and waited. The agent that handled this is a very humble guy, he mentioned he was BP but never mentioned anything about the special agent stuff. He was just laid back, chill and relaxed, drank a few beers and talked fishing that night around the grill.

What will be sad is if the schools and law enforcement doesn't learn from this on what to do the next time!

People seem to easily forget if they weren't envolved, and figure it won't happen to them, so it's business as usual.

It sure is sounding worse and worse. One parent was handcuffed for trying to enter the school to get her kids. They eventually let her go and she walked around to another side, jumped the fence went into the school and got her kids out safely. All while the police sat back waiting...

Reported on one news organization this morning that the first two officers responding did try to engage, but they could not see the shooter.
He could see them, and both were shot.

One was shot in the across his head and by his ear.
The second was shot in the neck and forearm, then both stayed put since they had no idea where the shots were coming from.

This might have been why other officers on the scene stayed low and did not move in.

Addendum: Law enforcement, and it does not look good.
Addendum: I'm not cop, and I've never ever been near a situation like this. I could see how the parents outside were probably screaming at officers to act, but the parents probably didn't know two officers were already shot. No matter what, this kid was prepared to do damage.
Addendum: He was arrested or question 4 years earlier with another kid who said back then that they would shoot up a school when they were 18 and seniors!

yep this may end up being even worse than we thought. I can't imagine losing a child like this but to be held back from helping them when there was time. How do you get over something like this. I wonder if the guy who had a heart attack because his wife was killed there, if he knew this and knew she could have been saved and no one did anything.
