Yep. Especially if you pair them with a power pole charge.

Yes, I am running a set of 54 AH with a Garmin Force (24V) & talon hooked to the 12v side. No problems on heavy wind days.

I run two 100ah lithiums. I have been really torturing them, and the lowest I have seen then was 66 % for the day. Using 24v ultrex. If you want some security bump it up. I went with Eg4 100ah 550$ each and i can go two 12 hr days without charging, and still have extra. I used to start up the motor moving short distances, but now i just use the TM. Removed 75lb wet cells, and installed 22lb 100ah batteries, was really a Surprise...

Buddy of mine has two 50ah Ionics on his Ultrex. After fishing Amistad in the wind he was wishing he'd got bigger batteries.

If you fish all day in wind or weeds with an Ultrex you will want bigger than 50. I had two 50ah on an Ultrex and have killed them twice before I was done fishing. Usually they last but are very low when you check the percentages at the end of the day. The Ultrex sucks a lot of power compared to the new brushless Garmin and Lowrance motors. I ended up buying two 100ah to replace them and wish I had gone with them to begin with.
