How could you not believe there is a God? Have you ever seen a 3d ultrasound of a baby in the womb? When you can see the face of your unborn child and they are smiling you will know there is a God, and a loving God at that.

Good point! When Jesus invented 3-D ultrasound He said it would be a gamechanger. A lot of people scoffed at his prediction. I didn’t…but a lot of people did.

I believe if I threw a well shuffled deck of cards as far as I could into the air they would land on top of each other in A-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-J-Q-K order...suited, of course.

I developed that belief after I decided that the Earth, its atmosphere, all the inhabitants of it, the sun being exactly the right distance from us, and everything else that has to happen to sustain life all happened accidentally...after an explosion of matter, gas, or a substance of some kind, the origin of which no one can explain. Where did the "big' in the Big Bang come from? Was there a time when there was nothing, and then there was something?

I'm fine with not being able to comprehend the concept of infinity going into the past. I have a finite mind. I'm happy that God doesn't and is a lot smarter than I am.

The books of the Bible absolutely do not display anything close to unity.

There are two different creation stories in the first two chapters. Genesis 1 and Genesis 2 are both creation stories and disagree with each other, and that's only two chapters in.

There are two different stories of Jesus' birth. There are three different stories of the Resurrection and what happened when the tomb was found. There are two different accounts of how Judas died. Those discrepancies are just in the four Gospels. None of them can be reconciled with each other.

The lineage from David to Jesus is recounted twice - once with something like 27 generations, once with over 40, and with different names. Those can't be reconciled - either one is wrong or they're both wrong. Even Jesus' grandfather's name is different - in Matthew, Joseph's father was named Jacob, in Luke, Joseph's father was Heli.

There are literally hundreds of other examples.

Believe or don't, that's up to you and that's great as far as I'm concerned...but to say that the Bible exhibits unity throughout is simply disingenuous.

"it's gods will"...what BS...just an excuse. For supposedly being this all powerful, all knowing entity god sure does let a lot of bad sh** happen. Guess he's too busy visiting all those mega churches that are everywhere....and making sure those collection plates are full up.
