Using the LS yesterday The image was (for the lack of a better term) swinging back and forth. The transducer wasn't moving to cause the problem. The only thing different was I put on the 0 degree off set bracket. I got it to stop by putting on the auto sensitivity.

Any thoughts?

Mine did that about two updates ago. It stopped after the update. Before I updated I had to turn the unit off then back on.

When this happens, first try power cycling the unit. If that doesn’t work, turn AHRS off and then on again. If that doesn’t work, then reset the unit to default settings.

If none of those work try recalibrating the transducer and if the unit fails to calibrate after numerous attempts call Garmin and see if they recommend a new transducer.

In a pinch if this is happening and you need to get through the day on the water you can disable AHRS and manually set the pitch angle of the bottom. It isn’t ideal but it will get you by to where you can at least keep fishing.

Turning off AHRS will stop it , I think re calibrating compass will "fix" it but if it is close to the armature of TM it may go right back to swinging.

This is what I have experienced

It is the Attitude Heading Reference System (AHRS) stabilizes Panoptix sonar views on the chartplotter screen even under rough conditions.
