 Stranger puts me on schooling fish on CC Saturday evening

While slabbing my usual haunts for an evening fish fiesta, a stranger pulls up next to me and gives me a welcomed bit of info.
This guy with four kids and a wife informs me that the surface is boiling up the lake about a half mile. He said, he and his family watched them school for about 15 minutes. But because he had no rod on board, he headed south to take those kids swimming and our paths crossed.
He said if you want to catch plenty of schooling fish head up north and you will have it to yourself. Well, he was right about the surface activity. The water was boiling for acres with activity. Although I only caught three hybrids, just watching all those fish work the bait was a thrill. They stayed up long enough for about 6 more boats to join in the fun. All boats were catching plenty of fish.
I ended the evening with 3 hybrids and a gazillion sandies.
A big thanks to the guy in the boat who tipped me off.

That was nice Karry. I did't find much of anything last night....a few sandies down by the dam and all were small. They must have ALL been up there with you.
