Welcome sir, I haven’t filed yet, a bit too young. I have finally shed all thoughts of corporate America and working with idiots, I’m very content now I heard you sit by the pool sippin mojitos while ordering sammiches with no mac n cheese. it this true? Not quite, I stand by the pool digging debris out of it constantly while dead sober. I need to change that

My last day to work was Feb 3rd. But was on vacation until March 1st which was my retirement date. I got my first Social Security check today and they back paid me back to March 3rd. Which was the day I applied. I now feel officially retired and a card carrying old. Congrats. I retired 12/31 myself. The Social Security $ was the easiest to get but my Fed retirement $ is getting dragged out.

I have been retired a year now. It was hard to adjust but I kept at it and learned the ropes.
Congratulations on retirement.
