How reliable have the app been for you? Does it work for other species besides bass?

It’s garbage. I’m almost to the point where I count on the opposite.

I don't buy into any of that garbage. Go fishing when you can and adjust to the conditions as needed.
I can backlash toilet paper.

I find some value in it. I’m no pro or wannabe, just a guy who casually fishes for fun and stress relief.
I remember getting back into fishing as an adult I’d watch YouTube videos describing the moon phases and bass behavior. Chad Hoover said watch the birds. When the heron are hunting, so are the bass. When they’re hanging out in the trees, the bass are less active.
I fish when I can and adjust to the conditions, but when I see the birds hunting, I’ll pull out the bass forecast app and it usually shows I’m in a major or minor fishing time. More often than not, if they’re hanging out away from the water the app will show I’m not in a time. That shows some level of accuracy to me.
I’ve tried the baits and presentation speed it recommended and had good luck. I often target the lake structure it recommends.
If I spent more time on the water learning my lake I might think its junk, but for me it’s worth the $10/yr to glance at it and get an idea on what to throw.
