They are grinding the floor level right now. I was kind of hoping they would pour the stuff on it and float it.

Grinding concrete inside. This should make for a full weekend of dusting and replacing filters and did I mention dusting.

I have to give these guys credit. So far, the floor is looking good. They ground off the high spots and floated the rest. They are way behind schedule but are going to finish laying the tile tonight. They will have to do the grout tomorrow. The kitchen will be down until tomorrow night. Sandwiches it is.

That was an amazing mess.

Late start, but they pushed through until the tile got laid. Looks good so far. Grout it tomorrow and I’m just down to doing the backsplash.. I stained the cabinets and will never attempt that again. Countertops got installed two weeks ago.
