 I lost 32 lbs in 5 days

In the hospital on oxygen 5 days with chronic bronchitis. Now I’ve got to go see a pulmonologist and may also have a sleep study. They said my heart went into A fib while asleep 4 times. Since I went 5 days without a beer or dip I said I’ll quit them both. Well Copenhagen is stronger than beer. I’ve had a couple of dips. Just posting to see what I can learn from other folks that’s been through some of my medical problems,

Did you have a dry hacking cough? I've had one for weeks that just won't go away.
How do you get (or give to 'someone' else that needs to lose 32 pounds) bronchitis? Asking for a friend.

I never had to go to the hospital, but I had the same type respiratory thing several years ago. I would get congested, wheezing with coughing fits. I’d cough and cough and finally hack up this nasty green sludge that came from way down in my lungs. I was happening in the spring so I thought it was spring allergies which is pretty typical for me.
I went to my family doctor who gave me steroids and antibiotics. It’d clear up but be back again a couple weeks after I finished the meds. I did this 3 times. Doctor was treating the symptoms and not the cause. I asked for a plan B and was referred to a pulmonologist who diagnosed me with asthma.
I always thought asthma was a child thing. Pulmonologist said the majority of cases are children and adults over 55.
I take an asthma pill and inhaler once a day. I’m good to go. Still have allergies. I take OTC and a script nose spray when needed.
I also sleep with a CPAP machine. My pulmonologist monitors that. Next time I need a sleep study, I’ll use him.
Pulmonologist made all the difference for me.

Get well soon Coach. Copenhagen is very addictive, but you can quit it.
