I am about to have a catheter removed after being in for 6 days. Have a nice day.

Ask for the prettiest nurse they have to remove it. It might be less painful if 'it' is straight with no curves to go around.

I was taught a trick after a few of my surgeries and that is to humm really deeply when they remove it A lot less uncomfortable going in than coming out. I used to have my patients take 3 very deep breaths and on the 2nd exhale I'd slip it out. BOOM !
Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it !
