I notice that people who do that only do that to people that wouldn't be able to stomp a hole through them. Total D move.

Gas or diesel , if you see black smoke, that is unburned fuel. Why do you want to actually pizz away potential energy?

Like others said, it is a big sign blowing through the wind that you care more about getting attention than efficiency.

Well you certainly wait till it's out of warranty.

Leave common sense out of this thread, please.

If you can afford an 80k truck, you can afford the fuel LOL

I'd vote for emission requirements in my county if it meant I didn't have to breathe that [censored] in at every stop light.

The duramax seems like it has a ton of potential to get high 20's mpg and close to 1,000 ftlbs of torque, that's what I'm more interested in. The EPA stuff has got to go.

It's been a least a decade since I had a Duramax. But at that point, the weak link was the head bolts & the transmission. The tuner and aftermarket parts could make it a beast but to get full potential, I would have had to drop some $. I like ATS Performance Diesel stuff then but don't know who has the "good" stuff now.

Shops in Kerrville and Boerne if you can't find one that will delete in N.B.
It helps. The Gov has these diesel trucks choked up pretty tight.
As far as the better fuel mileage, most of that depends on your right foot. But you will for sure get an increase in power.

Don’t listen to the haters…..
No supermodel wife here. But did a full delete and 100 hp tune on my 2017 F350 and it’ll get 20-21 mpg highway all day long. Before it was 14-15 mpg.
Oh, and if you stomp on it, she rolls coal like a locomotive!
But if you drive normally, you really never see any black smoke.
Highly recommend getting this done. That said, I kept all my parts in case the nazis kick it up a notch.
Got all this done for $1750.

I had mine deleted while working in Wyoming. Never had any issues.

Update. Just got my inspection completed and new registration. Guess the state of Texas isn’t too worried about my EGR and delete…..

Be careful
My Nephew did the tuner thing and had some other work done that required stronger head bolts.

With all that, his truck would role cole and he could tune the FT/LBs over 800.

The sad story was he voided the warranty and blew the motor.
