Kosher salt and fresh cracked black pepper. A pat of hiiped garlic butter after it comes off is really good.

Of all places, the best steak I ever had was in Italy. Probably a place not really known for steak. It was a dish called Bistecca alla florentina. It seemed to be the local favorite in the Tuscany area. Hard to replicate here.

I have never tried boiled steak. The idea of it sounds wrong.

BUT that looks so good... I dont want to be right! Well done. I would eat the hades out of that.

Dan, you really should try it.

Brian inadvertently made me want to try it, so I bought a Sous Vide cooker years ago. If I had known how to sear it better back then, it would have been one of the best steaks I've ever eaten. Now, I use my food saver to freeze steaks with a pat of butter, a touch of garlic powder and a fresh sprig of rosemary. Pull one out when I want one and have an amazing dinner. Paired with some sweet potato casserole and asparagus. Damn good meal.

Sounds like an OT G2G should take place. All these bragtards need to see who has the best meat to beat.

If they're brave enough to show it.... I'll show them it has two ends.

They do have good steaks, when I can find them. Lately, it’s been hit or miss at the closest one to my house.
I have not been impressed with the Mansfield location at all. I prefer Costco prime or the Meat Board in FT Worth

I have before. I will use the Meater Plus. I don't want to take chances sometimes and eff up a $$$ thick cut steak.
