Berkley Power Pop… Looks like they’d be good in the grass! ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2022/05/full-9217-138550-bac7d012_da8a_4a88_81af_f6258e22e048.jpeg)

I bought some thinking I would try them out. That was over a year ago.

The fish hit them but getting that single hook in them is close to impossible. Stay with a strike king pad popper or Spro popping frog.
Retirement best job ever.

The hook is my only concern. I’ll give them a shot, since I have them now, but maybe use a larger hook… Just something a little different!

Yum came out with something similar like ten years ago but it was like a soft plastic spook. Yum Money Hound....it looked like somebody painted a hot dog to look like a spook. But I'd agree with 9094, stick with a frog.

Never have. Where are the hooks? They don't have hooks, that's the cool thing. Fish see these coming and jump right in the boat.RIGHT!! Stick with tried and true.

I have boxes of tried and true, but always like something a little different! I’m going to go 6/0, and add a slit to the body and see what happens next. Experimentation is kinda fun and I know the fish will be there every time, so I can let them rest and smack em with the frog next time! 🤣
