Wife has a Dell Inspiron 5477 A10 computer that is messed up. For some reason at times it will go into a search mode and not "lock" in on anything. This searching thing can last from 2 to 10 minutes. We have taken it to the "Geek" squad at Best Buy where we bought it but they can't find anything wrong. Before I invest in a new one I am wondering if anyone can give a clue as to why it is doing this. Thoughts?

Just buy a new one, I have had great luck with Lenova brands, I like the Thinkpads

Red: I am going to tell you one last time only this time out in the open since you wish to take your perceived issue public.

When you sent your computer to me I had no issues with your wireless connectivity.

When you let me know you had issues with that I offered you solutions to address it and you chose not to.

I even offered to fix it for free if you wanted to send it back to me for diagnostics and repair and you chose not to.

I do not rip off, lie to or take advantage of anyone and never will

This is the last time I will address this issue with you,

Good day sir cheers

On the recommendation of several folks on this site, I used Mr. Abel (dafanman) for the first time months ago to help me troubleshoot dads computer and got it fixed quickly. Zero issues since and I would absolutely without hesitation utilize his expertise again if needed.

Dafanman gets my vote of confidence. He's helped with a couple of my machines.
