I am stumped on a Force or Ghost ? Main issue with being disabled is ease of deplotment and pulling it back in, because of that I cant go with a Ultrex, tried my buddies, A Ultrex is heavy for me, so that being said, which would you buy ? Thanks in advance.

Go with the unit compatible w your sonar unit. Garmin go with Force, Lowrance go w Ghost. They are both great.
I have Ghost and Lowrance sonar, great trollmotor, quiet, power efficient. The lift of trollmotor is relative to the person lifting. I have no problem(76 old) and have shoulder problems.
I have buddy who has Garmin and Force and has no problems lifting.

Best to find someone who has Ghost and Garmin and find out for yourself.I live in Georgetown Tx, if I can help let me know.

I can only speak for the garmin force. It is easy to deploy. I would think Lowarnce ghost would be about the same. I would say if you are running Garmin stuff go with garmin. If you are running Lowarnce stuff go with lowarnce. I don't think you will go wrong with either one..

I can only vouch for the force… I came from an ultrex and you’re right. Ridiculously heavy. The force I can deploy with ease

Reputable TM folks have said their are less issues with the Force vs. the ghost or ultrex although I love the ultrex and we have 2 of em.
