I'd run out of the basics, so I spent some time at the vice. Lots of squirmy wormies, I swear that the glow-in-the-dark works the best for warm-water fish, but I tied some brownish ones too.
I had some high hopes for the clousers with the red dubbing at the head, but they don't seem to elicit any reaction.
The minnows at the lower right are tied with glow in the dark flash and glow thread. Those worked really well just after sunset last weekend.
The mostly obscured EP-fiber baitfish on the upper right caught me some white bass at Colorado Bend a few weeks ago, but they use so much material I don't know if I'll be making a lot of them.
I gave the roadrunner jig with the pink head some crystal chenille and lots of marabou, and that did fairly well with white bass, but not as well as a Mepps spinner.
And of course lots of rio-getters in green and rust. I don't think I caught a single cichlid last summer, and I need to reverse that trend.
