The Ray Hubbard Bass Cub will be having our annual Open tournament on Saturday May 21st on Lake Ray Hubbard. Here is the information -

• When: Saturday May 21st
• Where: Lake Ray Hubbard - Chandlers Landing Marina ramp ($10 reduced launch fee payable at registration)
• Time: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
• Registration: 5:00 - 6:15 AM
• Entry Fee: $100.00 per boat - 2 person maximum

Registration will be at the ramp starting at 5:00 on Saturday morning. When you register you will be given a numbered card. You will need to to turn your card in by placing it in the bucket to get your fish weighed. You will need to get your live well checked and a ribbon tied on to your trolling motor which must remain there until weigh in. You can then launch or trailer and go to your spot. No lines in the water until 6:30. Lines out at 3:00. There will be a 30 minute dead water period where no fishing is allowed at the end of the day. This is to give participants time to get off the water, and the TD's time to get the weigh in set up. The card must be in the bucket with the Tournament Director by 3:30. Weigh in will start then. If your card has not been turned in by the specified time, a 1 pound per minute penalty will be assessed. After 15 minutes your catch will be marked as 0. You will be called to the scales by boat number. Leave your fish in the live well until your number is called! Keep the water treated and your fish healthy! See you at the ramp!

Our Open is this coming Saturday on Ray Hubbard! Fishing has been really good with lots of 20 pound plus bags at recent tournaments. Come on out and join us!

Tournament is tomorrow! There's good news and bad news. Good news is the storms are supposed to not get here until the evening. The bad news is the wind is going to blow hard like every other day this spring it seems. Remember this is a TRAILERING event. Use that to get as close to the area you want to fish. Stay safe! It took 32 pounds to win out there on Tuesday night. Big girls are chomping. Gonna take some weight to win! See you there!
