im beginning to like the high water and the closed ramps at grapevine i was the only one on the water today (that i could see)
caught a couple sandies chasing shad up to the flooded tree lines, its so nice when the lake is calm and there arent any jet skis or ski boats constantly buzzing around, flooded trees have been awsome for large mouth too, its a little touch to navigate through the trees with all the debris floating around but it didnt really slow my jon boat down too much.

How exactly did you get on the water?
I was under the impression that the entire lake was closed...
Anything but FIRST sucks.....

i lifted my jon boat off the trailor and walked it down to the water, i didnt know they could close the entire lake?

Jim and I were on the lake today looking for sandies..
Nice and smooth before all the yahoo's showed up around noonish.
