Pretty exciting to think we’re only 6-8 weeks away from a full-blown shallow water bobber bite. I typically get on a good pattern around the end of April/early May on Whitney, and eventually see it taper off sometime in late June. Lake Whitney has some phenomenal channel cat fishing, and I would love a chance to earn your business. You ready?! Call or text Capt. Lane Palmer at 817-266-9811, so myself or RD Myers can go fishing with you this year. You can also visit us online at www.ftworthfishing.com or www.constantpursuitoutfitters.com, message us here on the TFF, or see what our customers are hunting and fishing for on Instagram and Facebook. If you need a Saturday around Ft Worth, I have these dates open: 4/23, 5/7, 6/4 and 6/18 For Cedar Creek, RD has these Saturdays open, and the focus will be on box sized blues : 4/16, 4/30, 5/7, 5/14, 5/21, 6/11, 6/18 We have weekday openings scattered in between. ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2022/02/full-22219-128786-20826b37_026d_4347_b6b2_b67a97eaff74.jpeg) I can also meet you at Eagle Mountain And for those who like a little variety, most people call me for crappie when I’m guiding freshwater. Why not do both??? ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2022/02/full-22219-128793-12406c4e_9a05_4213_a613_44b7b65d6ff6.jpeg) And let’s not forget Cedar Creek. We have a boat there year around that’s run by RD Myers, and the blue cats are just plain silly in that lake. We have 21 years of combined full time experience on Cedar Creek, and big blues have provided quite a few memories for us. ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2022/02/full-22219-128794-da878926_dd55_4da0_bedf_8c94bbd61ef0.png)

I appreciate it Lewisville Catfishing! I really wish more folks would book catfish trips, or at least combo trips, as I really do enjoy chasing those whisker fish. Catfish were my first love growing up, and when someone does book a trip for them, I truly do enjoy getting to hunt them down. It's a nice change of pace, and I'd pick a two pound blue over a crappie any day when it comes to dinner time.

Can anyone join me around Ft Worth or RD over on Cedar Creek? I have 6-7days left open between now and late June on the west side, and I am REALLY wanting to mix up my crappie trips with some whisker fishing. I like a little variety in life! If eater size blues is more your style, check out RD’s openings on Cedar Creek below. The shad are spawning right now, which as you know makes the fishing pretty silly. I can be reached at 817-266-9811, or you can find us online at www.dfwoutdoors.comHere’s what I have: 5/17 5/20 5/25 5/27 5/31 6/2 6/3 6/6 Here is what RD has open right now on CC: 5/5 5/6 5/7 5/16 5/17 5/20 5/25 5/27
