Grandparents only ran Ford’s. I’ve never bought anything other than Ford
Married have two girls and 4 Ford’s in the driveway
Youngest drives my old 2004 150. Never been in the shop
I’ve had two Ford rangers that went over 200k and only changed the battery in them
Even got 9n and 8n Ford tractors in the back from the earl 40s I use each month

This is a hard thread to read as i'm currently looking at new trucks. Have always owned chevy's but looking at both now. I did have a work truck that was a ford and it was a good truck. I just don't know which direction i want to take.

I’ve got 112,000 on mine. I changed the serpentine belt at 100,000…cause I was bored. I now have 12,000 miles on the Gates belt and keep the OEM Toyota belt under the back seat. It doesn’t seem like I’ll get 20k outta the aftermarket “good” belt and might have to reinstall the old OEM belt to get to 200k. I have had Ford F150 trucks for over 20 years and 2 years ago I bought a Chevy Silverado. I must say as of right now I like the Chevy truck better. The only other truck I have owned was a great 1983 Toyota 4 wheel drive. I just out grew that truck as the family grew.

Old school performance and technology that works is better than the latest and greatest that doesn’t work.

Toyota sells on reliability not flashy new toys that will be obsolete in 6 months.
