Doubt it. I wish it would be though, but lake temps are 65-70 right now. Should be peaking.

Wading today only produced 2 quality fish… one I know was full of eggs ready to bust.. way to slow in the neck of the woods I’ve been targeting.. this next rain could be feast or famine?! New cover for more spawning grounds? I’ll let ya know! Living for that shallow thump and hunt right now

I was out on the lake Friday and in my opinion the lake is in full blown spawn mode. Water was 65 degrees and my post spawn places were empty. I caught some spawning on rock in 13 ft. Grapevine is typically a late spawning lake and from my experience mid april through mid may is peak spawn. There will be fish spawning into june in places out there.
