 Small creek jug lining /lake cooper

Quick trip up a creek to check the water level right before all the rain we had the last 2 weeks Only caught 3 channels and 2 yellow bullheads But I still love watching jugs bound around and it beats work

When I used to jug fish the sub impoundments on Rend Lake in Southern Illinois for flatheads, we would use jugs made from 4" PVC. Depending on where we were on the lake we had some jugs that were 36" tubes. When a big flatty got a hold of a bluegill on one of those and pulled it under, it would come shooting back out of the water like a missle launched from a sub!
Those were some great trips. Chasing those jugs around the lake like Jaws was the best. Nice job on the video, brings back some great memories...

I enjoy jug fishing too, thanks for posting and boy do we need some rain.

Catfish Tim , thank you , I appreciate the kind words. the whole reason I started filming was for my 4 kids and our 1st granddaughter to be able to go back and see some of these memories .

huntfish, the last 2 weeks that creek/river has come up 2 feet . but it still has a ton of movement needed , I totally agree with you .... come on rain .
