Woke up yesterday morning to a dead truck. 2 batteries, a new alternator, a splice kit, new wiring harness for the alternator and $780 later I am back in business. Had a broken post clamp on a positive post on one of the batteries. Apparently it caused all the chaos. All good now for the truck, all good readings, etc, yada, yada, yada. BUT! That was my money I was going to use to buy a new Rec Tec. Guess I will have to put that on hold for a while longer. c'est la vie. It will make it much more appreciated when I do get it.

In another week in Houston, you should be able to throw a brisket on the concrete patio or hood of your truck and it should be cooked in 12 to 16 hours. With the humidity in that God for saken town, you won't even have to worry about it getting dried out.

That pic was when it was new about 2 years ago. She's well seasoned now.
