I am interested in catching a spotted bass at a lake other than Lake Alan Henry (since I am not after Alabama bass). If you were after a spot in Texas where would you go and what would you fish with?

Ray Roberts has some bigger spots. I've caught several 3 pounders. They tend to stay more on main lake rocks.

It's like looking for a unicorn. I don't think you find them, they find you. This was from 4-17 on Grapevine..

Cypress Springs has a massive population. Depends on where you are and where you want to go!

Kurth Lake has them. Main lake points in 8-12' just off the weed line. Don't forget to get your permit.

Reality. What a concept!

Bob Sandlin has a good supply of spots. Fish the rocks/boulders around Millionaires cove and you will catch some. Their at a lot of other places on the lake. Just those rocks always seem to have some.

I am getting lots of good ideas. A massive population sounds great. I am willing to go anywhere in the state for a couple of days.
