I looked it up and pool stage in 220.6 above sea level, the latest data I could find shows it being @ just short of 228 feet, so she's high by about 7 plus feet.. It's another one of those lakes on my bucket list that I haven't been to yet.

When is the last time someone remembers that lake not being above full pool?

Patman showing 7โ€™ over does not always mean 7โ€™. It has seasonal levels and I believe there is a 5โ€™ difference between winter and summer pool. So if they are still showing winter pool then the lakes around 2โ€™ over.

All that being said I have no idea what the 2 pool elevations are or when they swap. I just know that in the winter many years ago I went to the lake expecting it to be 2โ€™ above pool and it was mud banks for miles.

It looks like they have it divided into 4 different pool levels. Makes it tough to know what to expect.

The solution to any problem - work, love, money, whatever - is to go fishing, and the worse the problem, the longer the trip should be. --John Gierach

I live in Delta County and almost every drop of water that doesnโ€™t soak in winds up in that lake. I could understand why that lake stays at or above pool stage. The North, Middle, and South Sulphur Rivers send a lot of water that way especially if the flood gates are open on Cooper.
