Any recommendations for a safe place to stay near orange city boat ramp. I don't mind driving a few extra miles for security. Thank you in advance.

Holiday Inn Express is located on Interstate 10 in Orange. Large parking lot with good lighting. You can check them out online. Depending on where you are driving from, Beaumont is located 25 mins west of Orange and has more to choose from. As far as security, it would be a question for the front desk when calling them. I don't trust any location, so I just lock things up and bring stuff inside. Are you fishing a tournament or just visiting for fun fishing?

The Hampton Inn which is located next to Tractor Supply on the interstate access road is also a good choice to stay. You will just have to go back under the overpass and head back east on the service road to get to the river and boat ramp.
