I remember the now EX gf was asking me how I could listen to that old country, she hated it. Probably just as much as I hated that nasty beat thumping booty music c-Rap she listens to. That older generation had more talent in their little finger than any of these new artists. They didn't have some computer generated track to cover mistakes. they HAD to play it live and actually sing it with out auto tune and synthesizers. The likes of Dolly, George Jones, Patsy, Willie and Merle, Cash...shoes that can never be filled as far as talent.

Glen was a member of the "Wrecking Crew" look that up. A bunch of those songs from the 60s through early 70s you thought were written and performed by the " Who Ever" ... nope , it was a group of set musicians known as the Wrecking Crew.

we weren't far from where kings river became part of tablerock, grandad was in to fishing so we would hit the river.
had some good times back then.
