Posting here because I know a lot of you guys have this trolling motor.
New Ulterra with iPolot. Installed last weekend. No problems. Went out this morning, worked fine for a couple of hours. Then would give error beeps when hitting any button remote. Power cycle the TM. Deploy with the remote. Hit spotlock. Try to take it out of spotlock, audible error beeps. Can't do anything with remote or with foot control.

Power cycle. Get it stowed. Deploying from remote gets error codes.

Once it starts getting error codes, it doesn't do anything until you power cycle it.
Seems also that once you power cycle it, if you just use the foot control, works fine.

What am I missing?

Where are you getting power to the GPS puck. I had a similar problem that was resolved with a better connection to the puck.

Direct line to one of the TM batteries if I recall correctly. But I will check.

The puck is a compass and the only thing it’s for is the jog feature.

Check two things Battery Connections make sure your connections are tight, then look at making sure batteries are good. Next Re-Sync you're remote to the head unit.
