Just had a difficult meeting with an employee. Without going into the weeds she was caught red handed doing the wrong thing. A very wrong thing. Something she can and likely will be let go for doing.

So when I am asking for her to explain her side of the story, she's clearly nervous about this whole meeting (as she should be) and her eyeballs are darting back and forth. Twitching really fast. Not a voluntary movement, its too subtle for that. However very noticeable if you are looking someone in the eye.

Now I know what she was saying when her eyes were doing that darting thing was not truthful. The evidence in the matter is very clear and her explanation was absurd non sense.

So this darting eye thing... is that a sign of a lie or something else? I see her a lot and this I have never seen her eyes do that.

Where are my experts in this field of finding lies?

Is she hot?

IDK man. I really make a conscious effort to not look at staff like that. If you are a male managing a bunch of people... you wont last long thinking like that. Your thoughts will come out somehow in your actions and then your in hot water.

Always be mindful of how you think.

Kind of have the same thing happening at work, but the boss man in LA believes all his lies and made the liar the "supervisor" over everybody out here. It's come to the point that those of us who have tenure are all about to quit.
