I use a navionics and have a Lance Vick boatlanes loaded on it.

If you are looking for Lanes, Vick is your guy. Original and still most popular. They have a new pro version and all the other folks coming out with chips have good products too. Make sure you study the trails and understand them with the lake level before you go running any of those routes off the main buoys and "normal" guide lanes. Also, only trust a product from someone that's actually been on the lake!

The more info the better I always say. I use Lake Master/Navionics and run Curtis's lanes. Mainly because it is cheaper and the pro's were running that lanes. Everything is great. As far as which is better, I ask that you keep the " my dad is better than your daddy" to yourself. Information and knowledge on the water is vitual. I would buy both if I was unsure because they are a far cry cheaper than a lower unit.
