If anyone has a Hobie Float Cat they are willing to part with, please let me know. I’m trying to buy one for my dad’s retirement gift (this is the one he specifically wants). I have found a few for sale in other states, but the sellers have not been willing to ship it even though I offered to pay shipping and extra for their trouble.
Where are you located? What cities have you seen them for sale? What web sites are you using? I have found them on Craigslist but it takes a while to search for them and so many people on Craigslist are flaky. I had to drive 10 hours round trip for the last one I bought. No one wants to ship because it is such a hassle and there are too many ways to get scammed.
