Hit a pretty good pot hole on the way to the lake Saturday morning. Jarred the chit out of everything. Got to the lake and actually walked around the truck and boat looking for a bent rim or any damage. None was visible, so i launched and went fishing. Loaded the boat up after the tournament and found that I had a flat. Still no visable damage to the tire. Borrowed an air compressor and filled it up. Held air the 40 miles back to the house. Went to dinner and came home to change the tire and plug it if it was a screw or something. Broke the first lug off trying to take the tire off. Called it a night and figured i would attack it in the morning. Got the tire off and still couldn't find anywhere that was damaged. soapy water let me down so i dropped it off at the tire shop. Went and got a new set of studs, started hammering the old ones out and while i was down there I noticed that the cross member infront of the axle was broke in half...
Got new studs put in and the tire shop calls and says the side wall has a pinch in it that is leaking.. Just great.... Putting the spare on so i can get it hualed to a friends shop so I can crawl under this thing and jack the crossmember back up and together. Going to plate it with 1/4" on the front and back.. Then i guess I get to go to the tire shop and have new rubber put on all the way around.
Been fortunate over the years but its a boat and will always get you when your not expecting it.

finally put the boat in the water after about 5-6 months sitting. sat before the mega bass on fork, launched, left it running while I parked and come back to solid alarm. no water pressure and one hot outboard, sitting at sartin now to hopefully just get 2 gaskets put in between the head and mid section, seems mercury used a paper gasket with really thin areas that can blow out. considering it is a 95 merc. if it fixes it I am still winnin, maybe. lol

Don’t get me started about trailers and trailer tires. I just recently gave up and ordered a brand new trailer from Skeeter. Been the best money I’ve spent on the boat since I bought it.
Goad can you are working out the problems.
