When I index my active target on the forward-looking hatch marks, it has a gradual sloping blank screen starting at about 10 feet, especially in shallow water 4 to 6 feet off water. I have to go one more notch past to be able to see top off trees. The transducer is mounted 10 inches above ghost motor/prop.

I would mount your transducer 8" Top of the motor to bottom of Bracket on Shaft. Then when you go shallow water use the Transducer offset to adjust up. on my 52" Ghost I move it to 3 to 5 deg Plus. The best way to do this is Get in 15 to 20ft of water on a bridge piling or tree and go out 80ft from it and use the offset to get your full picture. If you run it at the main forward slot then use your offset which is located in the AT installation that works pretty well to get what you are looking for. This is only needed in the shallow water. Try that and see if that does it. Also run auto down range and Stable View on.

It sure isn’t in any of the owners manuals.

I know it’s a pain, but I’d sure love to see some different screenshots with this adjustment made before and after. If I can make it to the lake Sunday, I’ll try it, just not sure I’ll make it down.

If you want to see a major difference find a bridge piling or lone tree. Go out 60 to 80 ft more than likely you will see half of the bottom in say 30ft adjust angle offset up plus 3 to 5 degree and look again It will most likely see the entire tree bottom to top. This all assumes that your TM is perfectly 90 deg to the water off the boat. You cannot believe how many boats I get on for on water training and they can see out in forward 25ft max we check that angle and the TM is always 6 to 8 degrees back toward the transom so its shooting the signal down instead of forward even this can be corrected on the angle offset adjustment. But my preference is to get the mechanical adjustment on leveling the TM on the boat done so I have the full adjustment range of the offset to play with for all kinds of special lookey opportunities. It will adjust down 10deg and up 10deg use a minus on the down and a whole number for up. Have Fun Don't try this on docks you will be have way to much fun and not fishing enough.

thumb I’m pretty sure that im getting about the best image possible, but still worth checking. I saw the item in the menus while learning the graph, but was scared to start changing things without having a clue what they really did. Glad someone asked this question, because honestly I thought this was a depth offset feature for the AT transducer.
