I was out there in the wind today and caught them good. only reason I went is because i saw that they cancelled the MLF tourney and I'm glad I did.

It is really pretty simple. THSBA scheduled the regional tournament on Texoma a long, long, long time ago. The MLF decided, long, long, long after the THSBA booked the regional tournament on Texoma, to book their Toyota Series tournament on the same week/weekend. So it is really hard to understand how you don't understand the reason ol' Slim285 posted stuff like this.

By noon tomorrow it’s going to be blowing just as hard out of the south as it does from the north today.

If it’s like the previous events, the bummer for the professionals is that the THSBA anglers get to leave the ramp and hole sit long before a numbered takeoff event will start blasting off. Beyond that it’s a non issue, Big Tex will swallow up 500 easy.

It's really hard to understand how you and slim don't understand 500 boats on Texoma is no big deal.

The pro trails probably should consider avoiding texas because of the mess these high school tournies are causing. It's funny how quiet guys are on social media about them but every time I talk to a guy that has captained, and generally knows what they are doing, such as this week they immediately talk about the arse whipping the high school deal is. They enjoyed the kids but everything else about it made it a no go in the future. But is sells a few boats and combos from academy.....

Actually there are 174 boats listed not 500.. But it will look like a redneck's check book with everyone on the water.

I'm just waiting for a couple kids to get killed in events for the High School deal to be dropped. There are some horrible boat captains! I watched several lately that almost caused major boat wrecks.

HS kids are not mature enough imo to fish in those types of tournaments. Its getting out of hand for sure and I have never heard a captain say one positive word about the program.

Are you suggesting before MLF schedules a tournament that they consult every tournament organization known to man and make sure there is no conflict? You guys are ridiculous, grasping for straws, let it go.

Well, I don't know how many high school tournaments are conducted in Texas, but if you think a pro tournament series can avoid not conflicting with one in addition to TTT, champs, TTO, TTZ, I don't believe it is possible, not enough available weekends. I believe the issue lies in the high school tournaments having more divisions, resulting in much smaller entry numbers. There is much less issues with a 100 boat tournament than a 200 or 300 boat tournaments. Everyone should get past the I scheduled mine first mentality and try to resolve the issues. Thanks
