What lake or lakes have the best white bass fishing in Texas? Im talking about main lake fishing not when they go up creeks and rivers in spring. Which lakes have the best sizes and numbers of White Bass?

Are 4 that immediately come to my mind.
But sizes and numbers are two different things. Tawak might be the only one on that list that has both. I've never fished Fork for white bass but have heard about the biggn's that lake can produce.

Livingston was always the go to when I was growing up around that area. I can't speak to currently, but 10-15 years ago it was hard to beat. Conroe also has a big population of hybrids with a lot of them having considerable size.

A good resource for you is scrolling through TPWD fishing reports. You can select region and scroll through each lake, clicking on each lake will provide a table of each fish species population, either poor, fair, good, or excellent.

This will help you identify all the ‘Excellent’ White Bass fisheries. They appear to be pretty accurate based on my experience.

Sabine River has monster white bass. Which means Toledo bend probably has a nice population of bigger fish.

I can go to Cooper and limit out in a couple of hours or less 9 months out of the year
