Caught three of them yesterday. This one being the stud of the three. None were hooked but they all hung onto the bait until they got in the boat and realized they had better let go and jumped back into the water. This one hung on long enough to get a picture. Anyone else ever had this happen? ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2022/04/full-117378-134954-a425171c_dc92_4737_9148_7302cb30d82d.jpeg)

I've caught a few on plastic worms but never on a frog. They're great eating too.

Fun stuff, I’ve caught on worms, frogs, top-waters, popping bugs, etc. We used to have a few ponds where the bull frogs were the targeted species.

Good eating there.
Can't believe you let them get away.

I love the shadow it is casting. The bait blends in and it looks just like Kermit!

I use a rod and reel with a 4 inch worm and catch them all the time. All you have to do is to spot them close to the bank and then cast the worm on the bank near them. Twitch it a couple of time and they will eat it up. Set the hook and the fight is on. Just be sure to not put too much grease in the pan for the legs as they will kick some out sometimes.

Have you ever seen any at any of the lakes? McQueeny, Placid, Choke, etc.
