I went with the Ultrex but it was simply because I have Humminbird graphs.

I'd also give this decision a little time because I'll bet the farm Minn Kota will have a brushless trolling motor on the market soon; Motorguide too. Motorguide can suck it.. I am on my second Tour Pro and its acting up now. These motors are dangerous and shouldn't even be on the market. I am a long time Motor guide user but that stops very soon. After the episode this weekend I am done with them and their junk product.

They do need to work on their product for sure..
