There was a time in my life I took his approach. I have since moved away from that, but I respect his gall.

In the comments on his post it also mentioned MLF just now paid three AOY winners. Not sure how true that is either.
Zack said “ Keith is not wrong… 2/3 of them found out they were getting paid back last week while at Redcrest.” It was in response to Keith saying, “ Are they on the same payment plan as MLF AOY??” BPT did not have an AOY sponsor the last 3 years. Bally's just signed on as the AOY sponsor. When they found out that there hasn't been a sponsor they decided to pay the last 3 AOY winners 50 grand each. That wasn't money that should have already been paid it was a nice surprise for the previous winners

Glad to gear that. That makes sense. Good on Bally’s and MLF then.
Now if Bally’s would just allow me to watch the Mavs and Rangers.

Not a good look to make that post, keep collecting/calling but don't take that business to social. Play the long game and take the high road. Nah. He can put em on blast all day. Its 2022, social is how it’s done nowadays. They probably don’t answer the phone or their emails.

The problem is he has a few different bait companies on his Jersey- he is making them all look bad unless he names the guilty. Just at a glance I see yozuri, googan, omega, hardcore. He makes sure to tag his sponsors in his post. Taking a quick glance, googan hasn’t been on that list of hashtags Well it would be nice to hear the full story. Googan is well funded and I am sure their legal team has a better grasp on the contract than Zack Birge does. A company has more to lose than gain by screwing people. But his approach is real childish and it’ll cost him I’m sure.

When Bally's came on board to sponsor AOY with a cash payment, they chose to make it retroactive. People like Keith are the pond scum who make up answers when they know not what they are talking about.

Be a professional, realize that you have a long career ahead of you in a very small industry. Grind like hell behind the scenes to get paid and use every available resource but stay out of it on social. Just because your sponsor sh*t the bed doesn't mean you have to join them...

[quote=Douglas J]So how much can an angler like Birge make from sponsorships yearly? Evidently enough to qualify for truck payments, but not enough to pay cash.
