If they get caught advertising the lower price and upcharging for CC use, MC/VISA will cancel their account.

WalMart Del Rio does that garbage too. Irks me...alot, but it's still cheaper than other stations.

The Wal-Mart in Del Rio now has ethanol free but only 87 octane. Useless for my yard equipment or SHO

North of WalMart, about a mile, on the East side is a place that sells fuel, fills air tanks, etc. They supposedly have lead free also, but I have no idea what the octane is. Can't remember the name of the place right now. It's across the street from the Exxon on the West side of the highway.

Pretty much every gas station in Galveston does this. But they do display the cash and credit card price prior to pumping.

.20 per gallon is a pretty good bump. When I ran a station, I think the cc co. charged a 3 percent charge. .20 is more than that. I only put in 5 gallons. Figured something not right. I did not see any sign stating there was a 20 cent bump for pay at pump services. Plus, the lady inside made it sound like it was for all transactions at the pump. Not sure that's accurate because I don't think they can legally do that on debit transactions. Anyway. It happened. Time to add them to my Target boycott lol. I normally fill up at Walmart, but someone opened the gate this morning. Just a heads up message for the OT.

I have not seen a difference in prices for cash or credit for gasoline around DFW in quite awhile. I see it for diesel at truck stops. I find it strange that when I drive 35 to Burnet the highest prices are north of Waco around Hillsboro and the lowest are just south of Waco. I have seen a spread of close to $.50 and that was when prices were lower. A few years back I was at Love's and they were in the process of changing the prices just as I pulled up to the pump but never seen what the OP saw.

Did they have a sign up saying they charged more for credit?

Just a tip, skimmers can also be found for the card readers inside as well. This one found at a 7 Eleven in McKinney recently.

We got $45 worth of gas at an Exon station yesterday. As we were driving my wife happened to look at our bank account. $175 had been taken out of our account for $45 worth of gas. I had used the credit card option instead of debit. She called the bank and was told all gas stations do this now. It is supposed to keep people from getting gas with no money in their account. It will usually show pending on your account but ours was actually taken out. It was put in back in there the next day. What would happen to someone who didn't have $175 in their account? Overdraft ? I'm not worried about the money. We always have plenty in our account. I don't like a company being able to do this so it's cash only for me from now on.

The pumps have you select payment method first and that changes the display on the pump to the price.

But I always get my gas at Costco, always the cheapest in town and the same tanker delivers to all the stations in town.
Costco has best prices around. That said I will not wait 15+ minutes in line to pump gas.

I know the place but donโ€™t remember the name either.

I was heading to San Antonio to move a downed tree out of mom's backyard. I had a third of a tank (F350) and stopped to fill up. The doggone place has a $100 limit and I didn't top off before the pump stopped at a hundred. @#%^!!

I actually saw a sign today that had a lower price for gas "with car wash." That was a 1st for me.

Itโ€™s common at 50% of gas stations in the Houston area.
