Anybody here make custom ammo? Have a couple rifles I’d like to build dope on but idk how to press ammo!

I’ve got some of Chads ammo, I’ve spoken with a couple guys on the green screen, just always looking for new stuff!

Maybe get into it yourself? It's doable. Just watch out for squibs and doubles.

Finding hulls to reload is the hardest part.

And they can only be reloaded a few times before they split.

What calibers?

Plenty on the hunting forum, myself included, that could do it but finding the components is very difficult right now….tons of research and constant checking of sites just for our own needs, let alone for someone else. Your best bet is to find someone that loads for the same calibers that you have. Other than that, Chad or JGFireman are your best bets.
On another note: if this is to save money it’s a waste of time, only worth it if accuracy is the issue.

I just wish we had a shooters world power dealer up here. SWBO and Socom are 2 I can hardly find.

Op, what is it you want to reload? I've hand loaded around 400 thousand rounds of all different calibers.
That said, if we are talking rifle loads, we could get a starting load but every barrel is different and it takes
a lot of work to come up with the best load for a particular rifle, especially a bolt action. Semis no problem.

If you're shooting in the same rifle, you can full length resize the first time, but after that you can often get by with just neck sizing or at the most just bumping the shoulder back a tiny bit. I test them in my rifle to be sure they will chamber and the bolt will close before I load a whole bunch. I always full length resize on my AR cases because never know when they might need to get fired in a different rifle and generally just don't want to take any chance on one sticking in the chamber with the bolt not closed.

Some calibers are a lot worse than others for short life due to resizing but just neck sizing can prolong the case life by a whole bunch.
I usually buy new brass to start with and keep track of how many times it's been loaded.

No disrespect but I would never use a full size die for a rifle cartridge from a bolt. The cartridge expands to the perfect size of your chamber and
that is where we start. Neck size is the only way to go. In regards to an AR or any other semi, the cartridge does not stay in the chamber long
enough for it to be a perfect fit and a full size die is appropriate for semis.

Secondly, I am going to take the cartridge that was neck sized/trimmed and with a dremel tool I cut a cross in the top of the neck. This will allow a bullet to
be seated, (you won't be able to push a bullet into the neck without cutting the top). With that empty cartridge, I put a bullet in the neck and put the whole cartridge in the rifle. Close the bolt slowly, (the bullet will be pushed into the cartridge)
and eject the round. You now have a perfect cartridge that is zero off the lands.

In the station that seats the bullet, back off the seating die. Insert the cartridge and turn
the seating die down until it just touches the bullet. It may be touching the top of the bullet or the ogive of the bullet but regardless, your seating die
is now set at zero off the lands. Remove the dummy cartridge and measure the OAL, Write it Down in your load book. I would start by backing off
100 thousandths and run some test loads. This all of course is without even doing any powder load data BUT, I have had the greatest improvement
in group sizes do to this technique. Like I said in my earlier post, it takes some work to dial in a rifle load.
