Dog days of March… that’s what the old time guides used to say a lot when I was younger . With all these passing fronts zero wind then super windy days it has seriously changed day-to-day. Been fishing longer than normal. Uncle Mark made a joke last week that the fish had formed a union and wouldn’t bite till after 2 PM :-) Spring break fishing some days trying real hard to show em a good time on the water. We have had some real good trips in the last couple weeks and had some really tough ones as well. These fish only know two things really feeding and fornication and right now it’s time to Spawn so they’re concentrating on it pretty hard LOL. I have fished far west far north and everywhere in between and it’s been Stick and move most days…clients have caught a few serious hawgs…always a good thing

I for one have put on my Crappie hat.

Took Jeff Craft out Saturday from 1030 to 430pm. We covered 40 miles, throwing sassy on structures. 2 bites and boated a 22 incher at 230pm and that was it. It's fishing! We log enough hours in this game to recognize this pattern. Lol

Beautiful day and sooo many many boats out. Sailboats, huge cabin cruisers and lots of fisher peoples and didn't even see a fish landed. Lol. Tomorrow is a new day
