Are you talking about MLF or all organizations? Doesn't BASS the same thing? They cut the field after day 2 and then cut the field to 10 on final day.

The comparison between two things that not comparable sure is getting obnoxious. I enjoyed the footage from both leagues and their championship event. I do find it a little mind blowing that the same 6 people get on every post about MLF to talk about how much they don't like it. Bizarre.

The mlf/bpt style of scorekeeping more closely resembles all other sports and I think that’s the goal. Imagine a ncaa basketball tournament where the score kept adding up everyday or an nfl season, etc. Each day is a new game. The good thing about it- no one is harmed by this, we have 5 fish tournaments for those that like that format as well.

Why do people get so mad when others express their opinions of disagreements? People act like everyone should agree on everything 100% of the time. The guys that argue against MLF are absolutely no different than the ones who express their opinions in favor of it. The most used comeback on here is "if you don't like it then don't watch it", well "if you don't like the comments, don't read them".

It's the mentality of the times. Your either this or that. No common or in between ground anymore.

I dunno- if you have common ground and express you like both then you tend to get ostracized by the never bpters…😀

I guess they are trying to make it more like stick and ball sports for betting purposed. Ball games on different days always reset the score, in baseball they reset on the same day at times with double headers. But I agree bass fishing tournaments have always been treated more like golf where aggregate score carries over multiple days. Is one right or wrong IDK but do prefer the aggregate but aggregate more often than not would not be exciting in the MLF format.

Its pretty evident a bunch of guys on here didn't grow up ragging their friends and vice versa. Some guys just can't handle a little opposition. I'm a coach and it's constant razzing in the office. You have to be quick and witty, otherwise you get ate up.

Actually, I think we have a bunch of guys who grew up without the internet. We learned early that you didn't run your mouth without repercussions. The younger generation who grew up on the internet does not understand that concept.
