I've been twice. As far as tackle goes, the first time I had no idea what to expect and took a wide range of things. I did really well on a couple baits/colors and the next time I concentrated more on what they bit the first time.

Thanks for all the info. Didn't even think about a spare paddle on my first list I made. The more I read about paddles getting broken, it made sense.

I have broken a fiberglass paddle on a whitewater kayak trip when I flipped in some rapids. One of the guys in my group broke a branch off a tree and whittled the wood down so that it would fit as an insert in the fiberglass paddle. A little duct tape and I was able to continue on our journey down river. The whole repair time was only 5 minutes. It was like kayaking with McGyver.

Haha when you are out sometimes you just have to make things work. I keep some duct tape and super glue gel with me.

I've heard that super glue can be used instead of stitching up at least some kinds of Cuts or wounds, besides the regular intended uses? Or maybe that's a medical-grade super glue?

I have heard that too. After a clean deep cut on the bottom of my foot, I watched some YouTube videos and tried it. It didn't hold up very well and it split open again. I think it would have held up if I wasn't walking on my foot but I didn't have a lot of choices. I did manage to avoid an ER visit and the foot did heal up.

I have worked as a butcher and chef for 25 years combined and as long as you have non toxic superglue you can fix just about any cut. Im not sure if they have a medical grade but I always use Loctite - Gel super glue with no issues.

I have been looking at Angell Expeditions and doing the Devil's with them. I am new to kayaking and this is a gift from my wife.

Has anyone used Angell Expeditions?

if it ain't chartreuse, it's got no use.
