I am looking for a Johnson/Evinrude lower unit for a 1993 Johnson 115. Model VJ115TLETS
Let me know where I might be able to find one. Used is fine, Looks like all the water did not completely drain out and the freeze cracked mine. Or is it better to find someone to weld it up?

Personally, I would never try to weld a cracked lower unit. Just seems like an invitation for more issues. But of course, that depends on the location and size of the crack. Check out Crowley Marine here, https://www.crowleymarine.com/johnson-evinrude/parts/49100.cfm?mdl=1PYUORThe full lower unit is obviously no longer produced...even if it was, the list price is over $4,000. Pretty pricey for an almost 30 year old engine. That said, you can see the exploded diagram, all the right part numbers and how it all fits together. At the very least, this should help expedite and zero your search.

try Stone and Sons in Houston. longtime Evinrude dealer and used to have a ton of parts and used parts as well.
