I met a chick in Houston who was kind of bossy. I put up with it for a while.

I would love to go sometime. The par-3 tournament would probably be the most fun to watch.

Friends from Arkansas went 5(+/-) years ago, they went to see Tiger, they were impressed to say the least.
Not worth the $$$ for the trip to me.

I’ve played Augusta twice 15 years ago, but it was during the summer. Other than the well known postcard holes it’s pretty forgettable. We didn't play from the tips, so that changes the layout, as does crowds lining the very wide fairways.

Was there for a practice day 5 years ago, even more beautiful in person. It’s much hillier than the TV cameras show…I often wondered why approach shots on 18 weren’t closer, well, it’s because the fairway is steep enough that the flag isn’t always visible. You won’t find a single weed anywhere, the grass is all exactly the same length, not a spec of pine straw is out of place and even with thousands of patrons you will never see any trash or even a cigarette butt on the ground. The concessions are run like a Swiss watch and lines that look like it would take an hour to get through take only a few minutes. Even the souvenir store that looks like a madhouse actually went very smoothly and, when done shopping, there’s a place in back for shipping your purchases home so you don’t have to carry them all day. Lots of businesses could take lessons on efficiency from them.

Practice round in 1993. Very hilly. Hardly any level lies in fairways which were finely manicured. Off the fairway back then you on like a freshly mowed teebox . Swales in 14 and 17th greens unbelievable. Chicken salad sandwich and coke $4, golf hat $12, wind jacket $50, all much cheaper than local tournaments here. And then there’s the azaleas in bloom

Passed up a few invites from vendors years ago when I lived in Atlanta. Only for practice round though. I regret not going

Went in 2013 when Adam Scott won. We were only there for a practice round. We walked the whole course and settled in watching them skip the ball across the pond on #16. Last time dad and I went to a golf tournament together. Had an absolute blast.

I have a daughter that worked there full time when they lived in Augusta. All we had to do was go the the PGA gate, show our ID, they printed us a pass. She bought shirts, hats, jackets/vests, etc. I have a closet full of stuff from there. Played the course in 2017. Played the Par 3 that morning and the course that afternoon. The members there are some very nice people.

Lots of businesses could take lessons on efficiency from them. was there for a practice day about 25 years ago and saw exactly the same thing...only thing i might add is that they had what appeared to be camouflaged and elevated boxes for TV cameras/announcers back in the trees that were barely noticeable....happened to be walking in the grass alongside of a fairway, looked down and there was like a 4 inch square of bare ground that they had gone to the trouble of spray painting green.......
