We live near the Wise/Jack County line and we're lucky that it went around our place but reports are tgat Jacksboro got hit hard. Thoughts and prayers to those folks. Good people out that way.

Elementary and high school definitely took some damage, but they’re saying no one was hurt. Hopefully no one was injured and damage to houses wasn’t bad.

Bowie took a direct hit. One guy here at the FD lost his out buildings and RV but only minimal damage to home. Another guy lives next door to in laws. His house was fine. The in laws house was leveled.

It was intense, I know several who lost their houses and more that have heavy damage. Our company yard here got hit pretty bad, and the houses across the highway are non existent. Our mechanic rode it out in the shop bathroom, and one of guys delivering bulk cement was blowing his truck down and took cover on the warehouse office under a desk. He ended up with a little cut on his forehead. I heard it was near Bryson, 15 minutes away and started looking at the sky. After a few minutes I told my assistant to get home and take cover, and myself and a few other left shortly after. I went home which is the opposite direction from all this and watched it pass about 8 miles North of me.
