I got my butt kicked with it when the designer fished in my boat while it was still a prototype. He designed it with a feature so that when you stop reeling the blade placement allows it to almost "pause" or suspend for just an extra second or two. It seems to generate more bites.

1/2 oz War Eagle double willow in spot remover. Bladed jig gets a bit more work these days but the spinner still does well when the cover gets a bit too thick for the chatter.

Now that is something that gets my interest! A longer pause is the best way to get bit with any bait in my opinion. cheers

3/4 to 1 ounce spinner bait with the largest double willow leaf set up you can find. My favorite colors, white, white and chartreuse, bluegill, chartreuse and blue, using a chartreuse or white twin tail grub for a trailer. I've has some pretty decent success throwing these monster spinnerbaits.
A word of warning, if you do this throw them with the heaviest line you can get away with. These things load up a rod so hard after about 10 to 15 minutes of fishing you'll wind up breaking the line or pulling out the knot. I'd go with 25-to-30-pound mono or fluorocarbon or some 30-to-50-pound braid, maybe even heavier line than this. I'd glue the knot too. I've never thrown an A-rig but whatever is used for that would probably work fine.

Oldham double willow or tandem. Just received 2 dozen 3/8 oz. from Terry. Toughest spinnerbaits I have ever used.

Oldham is the only one I use, but I install my own blades and skirts. If I only had one it would be 3/8 oz. white head with #2 silver Colorado and #4,5 gold Indiana, with a trailer.

Any Donald Harper hand made, I bought several and he rebuilt some for me a while back, top notch all the way around. He is on here, we all know him. Got one of his tied on for in the morning as a matter of fact.
