Say, before I forget to post this, I wanted to mention that Michael M. and I will be kayak fishing Fairfield Lake from the northern most ramp on Saturday. I fished it several months back with Michael and just loved it.
It's the old power plant lake, about 2400 acres, and not a bad drive as it is centrally located in the state.
If anyone is looking for some company on the water, I usually prefer it, feel free to join us. Lots of water, lots of bass.
If so, I'd recommend making a reservation ahead of time. I do this online, put the print-out on my dash and avoid even having to stop at the park entrance.

Right on man! I wont be able to make that but I like to see people posting up invites.
Let us know how yall do!? Its a nice lake. No cover from prevailing South/North winds but a fun lake to kayak.

I heard the Sate Park was sold and no longer has access? Is that wrong?
Sounds like it.
Thanks for the info if possible.

Its been sold but the state is still leasing access... for now. So its open at this time.
I wonder how Brad did with his trip!?
